Michigan Resident Hit By Postal Truck on I-96

Just this morning a Michigan resident was stuck by a United States Postal Office truck. A man was walking along the I-96 freeway when he was hit and killed by the truck. It is believed that the man's car had broken down due to mechanical failure before he began walking along the freeway around 3:00 AM.
The man was sent to the nearest hospital but could not survive his severe injuries. Some westbound lanes on the highway were closed so that an investigation could take place.
