A 78 year old by the name of Irene Paquin was killed in a tragic Michigan accident in November. She was the passenger in the vehicle that was broadsided by Jerry Joseph. Joseph is accused of texting while driving which was the reason he ran the stop sign and caused the auto accident.
The accident took place on M-21 located near Lapeer, MI. Phone records indicate that Jerry Joseph indeed was sending texts seconds before the accident. This is believed to be the first case of its kind in Michigan. I will keep you updated about the results.
