Southwestern Michigan Man Drowns During Fireworks

A Southwestern Michigan was found dead around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kerry Ulrath, a 22 year old Bangor resident, was apparantly retrieving a lantern that had fallen off the boat. He went into the lake to retrieve it and went missing around 2 a.m at night. The accident took place on Donavan Lake in Bangor Township, about 10 miles east of South Haven, Michigan. The boat was setting off fireworks when the accident occured.
