Fatal Snowmobile Accident in Manistee Co.

James Teachout, 50, was involved in a deadly snowmobiling accident on 1/30/2011. According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of creamery and Puustinen roads in Maple Grove Township.

The snowmobile crashed into a pickup truck traveling south when he failed to stop at the intersection. This story seems to be one of many snowmobile accidents occurring in the state of Michigan. I love snowmobiling just as much as anybody but be safe out there!
