Pure Michigan Not Dead?

Just when I thought the Pure Michigan ads were dead, news comes out that Michigan Governor Granholm wants to appropriate $25 million to the campaign. I wrote in a previous blog post that I thought it was a bad idea to cancel the ads since it was a proven money maker for the state. Granholm stated"Pure Michigan is a proven winner in supporting Michigan jobs and businesses... With revenues higher than expected and with widespread support from this award-winning program it is important that we seize the moment to put this campaign back on track”.
I'm happy the Governor didn't let Pure Michigan die. I for one love the ads and truly believe that our State has alot to offer to tourists. It's well known that our local economy isn't exactly thriving and these ads will help small businesses immensely as they have in the past. I'm looking forward to viewing the continued
